Partner training can be very effective and a lot of fun. Ideally, you want to workout with someone who has similar goals and physical abilities. For example, if your goal is to lose weight, find someone who also is interested in losing weight (or we can attempt to find someone for you). The personal trainer will then design a workout that will be appropriate for the both of you.
The most effective method for partner personal training is super-setting. In this format, the personal trainer will choose two different exercises. You perform one exercise while your partner performs the other one. After the set is over, you switch. Most often, the partners perform each exercise twice.
