Spring Training for Beach Volleyball

The summer is near and it is time to get stronger, faster, and build greater endurance. You know that conditioning, speed, and explosiveness can elevate you to the elite of beach volleyball players. Healthy Progress Training has put together an affordable plan to help you.
The beach volleyball spring training will be a two-month long series with one training session a week. Each participant will receive a workout plan for the two months with nutritional suggestions. The series will be divide into following two modules:
Explosive power-conditioning
In this phase we will go through two routines. Each routine will start with a series of exercises that place emphasis on balance and stability, as well as the mid section strength. After you warm up with balance/stability exercises you will perform a power lift and an explosive exercise. The session will be concluded with an endurance circuit that mimics the intensity of a long play (you are going to be out of breath!)
Speed-conditioning
Like in the previous module, the session will began with a set of balance and stability exercises that focus on body control (abs and the works). We will then pick 2-3 exercises that train short burst speed needed in the game of volleyball. The session will be concluded with an endurance circuit that mimics the intensity of a long play.
Details:
- All participants will receive a workout plan for the days they do not train with personal trainer
- Wed at 7pm, 8pm or Mon 7 pm
- Other times may be available (please email for more info)
- March 3rd – April 21st
- Group of 3 ($30 per person)
- Each series must be pre-paid before participating
